This Level 1 course is ideal if you’re intending to study the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering. The calculation skills you’ll learn cover decimals, fractions, percentages, powers, metric conversions. You’ll also learn how to use a scientific calculator, and how to apply your skills to problems in fields that deal with measurements, such as engineering and science. No maths skills are required to enrol.
