This is an introductory course that covers all the practical and theoretical basics required for working with the up to date class of microcontroller devices. This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of microcontroller architectures, applications and interfacing requirements. It may be taught using simulation but it is expected that students will complete some of the practical assessment using physical hardware.
