Effective learning in New Zealand
Are you a new International student at Tamesa?
We understand that living and studying in a new country is an exciting opportunity, and that you will have many questions about teaching and learning in New Zealand.
To help you, we have created an online resource with information about New Zealand places, culture and the learning environment at Tamesa. It includes videos of current and past International students and tutors talking about teaching and learning at Tamesa and the many different ways International students are supported.
This online guide also has useful study tips and activities to help you be a more successful student at Tamesa, and an online discussion forum where you can connect with other International students or Tamesa staff if you wish. You can self-enrol in the ‘International students Effective Learning in New Zealand (eLiNZ) course’ by clicking on this link:
The International student eLiNZ course can also be located on your Moodle dashboard under Study Support.
We are committed to supporting you as an Tamesa student and hope you find the information useful
